Excellent historical piece on the modern art movement in Germany before the Nazi rise to power. The book not only gives detailed explanations of various art movements and artists, it comes with beautiful color prints of the artists' works. Most interesting to me were the works that illustrated the coming menace of totalitarianism.
Excellent catalogue of an incredible exhibit. Wonderful layout and good color images, and a great reminder of what the actual exhibit felt like in person.
